On the footer of each post, I've included an AI usage disclaimer. This is a small effort to provide transparency about using AI to create content for my blog. Below are the different disclaimers, based on how much AI was used.
None
"👨🏽 This post was pure raw brain power, no AI assistance."
For most short posts, where the point is straightforward.
Low
"🤖 The writing above was proofread, edited or enhanced to improve readibility using AI"
Where I use AI to correct spelling, or to clarify the writing. Similar to what a word processor would help.
Medium
"🤖🤖 The writing above includes substancial support writing and editing using AI"
Used for when AI is used to provide substancial supporting material to what may be vague writing or lack of knowledge of the topic being written about.
High
"🤖🤖🤖 The writing above is pure slop. It was mainly written by robots using LLM and AI"
It will only be used when I am completely unable to write anything myself. This includes when I have no idea what I’m doing, or when I don’t know how to use a particular tool.
